PUNK The Movement that Rocked!
Let's example from Rogues Culture- Rebel-Music. Let's speak about hard rock- punk of the 1970s was more than simply a musical design. It was an entire mindset. It was a response versus. Yeah. What a great deal of individuals viewed as the excesses of traditional culture. Right. The overproduction and the type of absence of credibility.
It was a rejection of all that. And it was raw. And it was unpolished, unapologetic, tidy your face. And it was amazing. It was exciting. And it wasn't simply the music. Right. It was the fashion. Yeah. It was the visual art. It was an entire identity. Yeah. And it resonated with many people. Yeah. A feeling of alienation, perhaps.
Its a sensation of being misunderstood. A sensation of desiring something different. Yeah, a desire for authenticity. Yeah. Therefore, punk was this actually crucial cultural force. A cultural explosion. And it had an enduring impact. I still feel the ripples of punk today. Yeah, absolutely. And I think it's a terrific example of how this rogue energy can manifest itself in various ways. And produce something brand-new and vibrant and interesting. And significant. Yeah. So if we sort of dig even deeper into history, we can see similar patterns playing out in various cultures and in various period. And you've described it as survival music, disobedience music, and cultural memory set to rhythm. Keep listening. Keep challenging. And keep it rogue. And keep it rogue.
Punk was more than sound-- it was consent. Approval to break rules, question power, and tell it like it is. Just like the rogues we honour at RoguesCulture.
